Sedikit telat mengucapkan karena mengakhiri tahun baru 2010 dengan banyak kejutan dan aktivitas. Mengucap syukur telah mengakhiri tahun 2010 yang dahysat dengan berbagai keputusan yang besar, mulai dari pindah pekerjaan, mengambil keputusan untuk menjadi full timer di dunia baru, sampai dengan keputusan besar untuk bersama kekasih mempersiapkan diri memasuki gerbang pernikahan!

Bersyukur untuk setiap langkah baru yang TUHAN ijinkan ada dalam kehidupan ini, 4 bulan terakhir ini merupakan bulan terhebat dalam hidup. Bertemu belahan jiwa sebagai jawaban doa, bertemu dengan rekan-rekan setim yang hebat di Sedapur! Juga bersyukur untuk  kesempatan yang diberikan untuk membagikan Visi secara marathon ke rekan-rekan lainnya! Thanks untuk tim Bagikasih, sungguh luar biasa pergerakan tahun ini, semoga visi kita bisa menjadi nyata! Bersyukur untuk kesempatan yang diberikan melayani dalam paduan suara Deo Gracias, Bersyukur untuk boleh bergabung dalam tim Forum Lilin Kecil!

Mengawali tahun baru ini, saya bertemu dengan Edwin dari Evolitera,  pembicaraan hari ini mengenai Visi hidup. Diingatkan melalui percakapan ini, bagaimana TUHAN memimpin bangsa Israel di padang gurun! Bagaimana TUHAN hadir melalui Tiang Api dan Tiang Awan yang memimpin bangsa Israel untuk bergerak maju ataupun berhenti. Seperti itulah pimpinan TUHAN terhadap kita, meskipun terkadang kita juga bandel seperti bangsa Israel yang selalu menggerutu mengingat “kenyamanan” semua yang ada di tanah Mesir. Dalam ketaatan-lah maka Yosua dan Kaleb diberikan kehormatan untuk memasuki tanah Kanaan, mengarungi padang gurun yang panjang untuk menemukan tanah yang kaya akan madu dan susu.

Saat ini, yang ada dihamparan terlihat seperti padang gurun yang menggelisahkan manakala melihat berbagai “kenyamanan” yang ada di pekerjaan dahulu. Tapi ini adalah musim baru, dimana kita harus belajar untuk berjalan dalam “ketaatan”  atas Visi yang diperoleh, berjalan di dalam iman bahwa TUHAN memimpin perjalanan ini menuju ke tanah perjanjian. Semoga melalui dua tangan, dua kaki, dan satu hati, kami dapat berjalan dengan setia dalam pimpinan TUHAN dan taat terhadap Visi ini menuju pengharapan agar dapat menjadi berkat untuk bangsa ini.

Sekali lagi Selamat mengawali Tahun ini dalam ketaatan terhadap Visi yang dari TUHAN! Bagaimana dengan anda? apakah Visi hidupmu?

This is one of two official Catholic hymns adopted from the 20th century. This new Good Friday hymn is sung by the Lebanese singer Fairuz. I have set this song to the Fourteen Stations of the Cross.

Entirely dressed in black, Fairouz, the legendary Lebanese singer, kneels with great humility before the altar and the crucifix upon which our Lord Jesus Christ was nailed and unleashes her impeccable voice as she sings in exaltation: “Today, He was hung on a piece of wood, The Man who hung the world above water…. We kneel before your Passion o’ Christ….We kneel before your Passion o’ Christ.” The year was 1965, and the place, a church in Beirut, Lebanon.
