Dia Datang Membawa Damai, kamu?
by soegianto on Dec.23, 2010, under Article, Christianity, Church, Discipleship, Multimedia, Sharing, Thoughts, Video
Tuhan memberkati
Bagikasih.com, a new project release
by soegianto on Sep.13, 2010, under Article, Books, Life, Sharing, Thoughts
This morning, I just have finished the presentation material of bagikasih.com a new Charity Social E-Commerce, as we know:
“Social E-commerce is a method of e-commerce where shoppers’ friends become involved in the shopping experience. Social shopping attempts use technology to mimic the social interactions found in physical malls and stores.”
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
and there are 3 (three) methods of Social E-Commerce according to Wikipedia :
- Group shopping sites Encourage groups of people to buy together at wholesale prices, essentially a Costco-like model for the online world.
- Shopping communities Bring like-minded people together to discuss, share, and shop. Using the wisdom of crowds, users communicate and aggregate information about products, prices, and deals. Many sites allow users to create custom shopping lists and share them with friends.
- Recommendation engines Allow shoppers to provide advice to fellow shoppers. The in-store analogy for this category of social shopping is asking a fellow shopper for advice
So let me introduce the number 4 (four) of Social E-Commerce, it’s a new from the Oven of my brain! please sit down and use your seat belt! here comes the number 4! Charity Social E-Commerce.
Next Post, why bagikasih.com and what is the philosophy and vision behind the name! Watch out guys!
Greatest love?
by soegianto on Nov.03, 2009, under Article, Christianity, Church, Doctrine, Life, Photo, Sharing, Thoughts

Greatest Love… it might be, but the greatest love of all is when God given his one and only son, to save me… , it’s hard to understand by non Christian, but the story might given you an inspiration and more understanding about why Christmas is important for us, not because of that consumerism culture from the west but because He love me, so He come to die, come to save the unworthy, sinful, lost person like me… it is the greatest love of all….
this what Jesus,some known him as Isa Al Masih, said “This is my commandment: that you love one another as I have loved you. No one shows greater love than when he lays down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you.
(Joh 15:12-14 ISV)
The Father loves the Son and has put everything in his hands. The one who believes in the Son has eternal life, but the one who disobeys the Son will not see life.
(Joh 3:36)
For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
(Joh 3:16 MKJV)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You love me, when I was so unlovely,
You sought me, when I was lost,
You show me, how much You really love me,…
When you bought me with a highest cost,
Chorus:
There’s no greater love than this,
There’s no greater love than this,
That a man would give His life for a friend
There’s no highest sacrifice
That a man would give His life …
You have paid a precious price for me
You love me, when I was so unworthy,
You cleansed me with Your own blood,
You clothed me with righteousness and mercy,
And you crowned me with Your steadfast love
About Faith …
by soegianto on Oct.13, 2009, under New Post
Several years ago I heard a story that I hope will reassure them that was often ridiculed by the phrase, “If your faith is strong you will not be …”
At that time I was listening to a woman called a priest in a radio broadcast. The priest was a wise man. Her voice was soft as if he could eliminate all fear.
The woman – who clearly heard was crying – saying,
“Pastor, I was born blind, and I was blind all my life. I do not mind being blind but there are a few of my friends say that if only my strong faith then I will be cured. ”
The priest asked him, “Do you always carry your guide stick wherever you go?”
“Yes,” replied the woman.
Then the priest began to advise, “If they mocked again with words like that, beat them using the wand then say,
If you have a strong faith, you certainly will not feel pain! ”
Life is about correcting mistakes
by soegianto on Feb.13, 2009, under Life, Romance, Sharing, Thoughts
Priya married Hitesh this day. At the end of the wedding party, Priya’s
mother gave her a newly opened bank saving passbook. With Rs.1000 deposit
amount. Mother: ‘Priya, take this passbook. Keep it as a record of your
marriage life. When there’s something happy and memorable happened in your
new life, put some money in. Write down what it’s about next to the line.
The more memorable the event is, the more money you can put in. I’ve done
the first one for you today. Do the others with Hitesh. When you look back
after years, you can know how much happiness you’ve had.’ Priya shared
this with Hitesh when getting home. They both thought it was a great idea
and were anxious to know when the second deposit can be made.
This was what they did after certain time:
- 7 Feb: Rs.100, first birthday celebration for Hitesh
after marriage
- 1 Mar: Rs.300, salary raise for Priya
- 20 Mar: Rs.200, vacation trip to Bali
- 15 Apr: Rs.2000, Priya got pregnant
- 1 Jun: Rs.1000, Hitesh got promoted ….. and so on… (continue reading…)
Wa Habibi, Good Friday Hymn sung by Fairouz
by soegianto on Nov.07, 2008, under Christianity, Music, Poems
This is one of two official Catholic hymns adopted from the 20th century. This new Good Friday hymn is sung by the Lebanese singer Fairuz. I have set this song to the Fourteen Stations of the Cross.
Arabic Lyrics:
وا حبيبي وا حبيبي أي حال أنت فيه
من رآك فشجاك أنت أنت المفتدي
يا حبيبي أي ذنب حمل العدل بنيه
فأزادوك جراحاً ليس فيها من شفاء
حين في البستان ليلاً سجد الفادي الإلة
كانت الدنيا تصلي للذي أغنى الصلاة
شجر الزيتون يبكي و تناديه الشفاء
يا حبيبي كيف تمضي أترى ضاع الوفاء
English Translation:
My Love, My Love
What has befallen you?
Who saw you and grieved for you,
You who are righteous?
My Love, what is the sin of our times and our children?
These wounds have no cure.
Fairouz the Jewel of Arab
by soegianto on Nov.01, 2008, under Christianity, Music, Poems
Entirely dressed in black, Fairouz, the legendary Lebanese singer, kneels with great humility before the altar and the crucifix upon which our Lord Jesus Christ was nailed and unleashes her impeccable voice as she sings in exaltation: “Today, He was hung on a piece of wood, The Man who hung the world above water…. We kneel before your Passion o’ Christ….We kneel before your Passion o’ Christ.” The year was 1965, and the place, a church in Beirut, Lebanon.
Selamat Jalan, Kung-kung
by soegianto on Jul.31, 2008, under Family, Life, Photo, Sharing, Thoughts
Selamat jalan kung-kung…
Kung-kung bukanlah sejenis makanan (itu kang-kung), bukan juga sejenis bunyi-bunyian, kung-kung merupakan cara kami cucu-nya untuk memanggil seorang kakek.
Kung-kung juga bukanlah seorang pahlawan, bukan pula seorang pembesar, kung-kung hanyalah seorang rakyat biasa, seorang pensiunan pegawai negeri yang lugu dan tulus.
Meski terlahir di pulau Bangka, masa mudanya dilaluinya sebagai anak seorang berada, sekolahnya pun nun jauh di pulau malaka (:Singapore).
Semasa penjajahan jepang, beliau kehilangan semuanya namun hal itu tidak membuat beliau kehilangan kemanusiaannya. Dibalut dengan kisah cintanya yang bak romeo dan Juliet dengan sang pujaan hati istri tercinta, beliau melalui jaman itu. (continue reading…)
