My Name is Soegianto

This is one of two official Catholic hymns adopted from the 20th century. This new Good Friday hymn is sung by the Lebanese singer Fairuz. I have set this song to the Fourteen Stations of the Cross.

Arabic Lyrics:
وا حبيبي وا حبيبي أي حال أنت فيه
من رآك فشجاك أنت أنت المفتدي
يا حبيبي أي ذنب حمل العدل بنيه
فأزادوك جراحاً ليس فيها من شفاء
حين في البستان ليلاً سجد الفادي الإلة
كانت الدنيا تصلي للذي أغنى الصلاة
شجر الزيتون يبكي و تناديه الشفاء
يا حبيبي كيف تمضي أترى ضاع الوفاء

English Translation:
My Love, My Love
What has befallen you?
Who saw you and grieved for you,
You who are righteous?
My Love, what is the sin of our times and our children?
These wounds have no cure.

Entirely dressed in black, Fairouz, the legendary Lebanese singer, kneels with great humility before the altar and the crucifix upon which our Lord Jesus Christ was nailed and unleashes her impeccable voice as she sings in exaltation: “Today, He was hung on a piece of wood, The Man who hung the world above water…. We kneel before your Passion o’ Christ….We kneel before your Passion o’ Christ.” The year was 1965, and the place, a church in Beirut, Lebanon.

Siapakah Kristus ? bagi banyak orang Kristus adalah seorang yang baik, sebagian lagi menaruh dia sebagai tokoh yang berpengaruh di dalam sejarah, sebagian lagi melihat dia sebagai seorang nabi, namun tidak lebih dari itu, sebagian lagi melihat dia tidak lebih dari seorang pecundang yang mati di kayu salib.

Mengapa banyak orang yang memperdebatkannya, tidak sedikit yang mengolok-oloknya, tetapi ada berjuta-juta orang rela mati bagiNya?

Siapakah Kristus bagi anda? apakah anda pernah mendengar tentang dia?

Few months ago, when the idea to create a cross project became a vision to us, there is one biggest question to ensure the project could run which is “who will buy the products?” The idea to empower the housewives to increase the nutrition infusion through doing their cultural mandate will eventually lost its hope.

But as it is written in the bible “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.”
Php 4:6, thus we put the biggest question of “who will buy the products” to The Biggest Solution provider - our Lord Jesus Christ -.

As we put our anxious into prayer and thanksgiving unto Him, we decide to start the project. At the beginning this project, everything seems find. We start by sharing this project to a lot of people from local church diaconal to person in charge in Jalan Kaca. Anda percaya mukjizat? saya percaya, bahkan baru-baru ini mengalami, melalui hal-hal kecil dalam kehidupan, terutamanya ketika sedang mempersiapkan Cross Project.

Ada waktu dimana terlihat semua jalan tertutup, tidak semudah yang dibayangkan. Tetapi lucunya, ketika kita mencoba untuk percaya dan tetap teguh dalam jalan yang kita pilih, maka mukjizat terjadi dan menjadi nyata.

Sebuah SMS tiba-tiba menghampiri saya pada siang hari, meminta dicarikan teks sebuah lagu. “gie,hafal teks pakai2lah aku,sbgai playanan kcilmu”. Hanya diberi sebagian syairnya, berharap saya dapat menebak sisa lagunya. Apa daya saya bukanlah bank lagu, mau tak mau saya ber-googling-ria. Setelah beberapa kali memasukkan parameter pencarian akhirnya berhasil menemukan teks lagunya.

Segera kuambil handphoneku, dan kusalin lagu tersebut dari layar monitorku… sambil tentunya bersenandung kecil… Tiba-tiba, entah kenapa saya kembali terlempar ke masa lalu. Dear all,

Until the end of March, my family is on the journey to Tokyo, Japan. to attend on my beloved brother holy matrimony. After a long journey and tiring journey, we arrived at the hotel at 1.00 am. wuff. So actually we are already in Easter zone in Japan… The next day we have a lunch - family gathering with my bro fiance’s family…

Ps. I don’t forget to bring d’ Cross project and share it with my bro and his fiance… hopefully this will at least open a new market to be entered…
