Saya bersyukur, selama beberapa hari ini Roh Kudus melawat hati saya, membuat saya kembali bertobat dari dosa-dosa saya. Pada saat yang bersamaan lawatan Roh, membuat saya peka ketika mendengar pergumulan saudara-saudara se-iman.

Saya dibukakan oleh Roh Kudus betapa “bitterness”, “akar pahit” dan “kekecewaan” seringkali membuat hati manusia mengalami Sirosis (pengerasan hati) rohani, atau bahkan mengalami penyakit Kusta (kehilangan saraf-saraf rasa sakit) Rohani. Hal-hal kekecewaan dalam hidup membuat kita takut untuk sembuh, dan membiarkan borok “sakit hati” itu menggerogoti kerohanian, seperti penyakit kanker yang menyebar namun tanpa menimbulkan tanda-tanda pada tubuh kita.

Celakanya penyakit Sirosis Rohani ataupun Kusta Rohani dialami oleh setiap manusia (karena dosa). Tanpa sadar kita memiliki begitu banyak kedukaan, kekecewaan dan kepahitan dalam kehidupan kita yang kita tutupi atas nama “kerohanian”, atas nama “pelayanan”, atas nama “tidak ingin disakiti lagi”. Dan semakin kita menyimpan kita tidak pernah menjadi lebih kuat… karena tidak ada kekuatan ataupun pemulihan diluar Dia.

Banyak orang  tidak pernah sadar bahwa kita-lah si penderita Sirosis Rohani itu ataupun Kusta Rohani tersebut, sehingga tidak pernah ada pemulihan dari dalam diri kita. Sadarilah setiap dari kita memiliki penyakit itu! Dosa telah mengelabui kita membuat kita seakan-akan sudah bebas!

Dengan kondisi Sirosis Rohani ataupun Kusta Rohani yang parah, TUHAN ingin kita datang kepadaNya, seperti sepuluh orang Kusta yang datang kepadaNya minta dikasihi. (Ketika Ia memasuki suatu desa datanglah sepuluh orang kusta menemui Dia. Mereka tinggal berdiri agak jauh dan berteriak: “Yesus, Guru, kasihanilah kami!”  Luke 17:12-13 ITB) atau seperti seorang Buta yang percaya dan minta dikasihani untuk disembuhkan.

Ketika Yesus meneruskan perjalanan-Nya dari sana, dua orang buta mengikuti-Nya sambil berseru-seru dan berkata: “Kasihanilah kami, hai Anak Daud.” Setelah Yesus masuk ke dalam sebuah rumah, datanglah kedua orang buta itu kepada-Nya dan Yesus berkata kepada mereka: “Percayakah kamu, bahwa Aku dapat melakukannya?” Mereka menjawab: “Ya Tuhan, kami percaya.”

Materi ini dipersiapkan untuk perayaan Natal FIB UI 2010, Materi ini berbicara mengenai “Damai Yang Sejati”. Sebagaimana Kristus adalah pembawa Damai demikian pula setiap orang Kristen juga dituntut sebagai pembawa Damai bagi lingkungan sekelilingnya.

Permasalahan adalah bagaimana kita bisa membawa Damai, jikalau damai itu tidak pernah ada dihati kita? Dan hal ini-lah yang menimbulkan pertanyaan besar, bukankah janji Allah melalui malaikat kepada umat manusia pada malam natal adalah Damai Sejahtera di bumi? Dan jikalau janjinya adalah damai, maka dimanakah damai sejati itu?

Kehilangan Damai sejati mengakibatkan banyak dari umat Kristen mulai meninggalkan ibadahnya, kemudian menjadi jemaat NAPAS (datang hanya pada saat Natal dan Paskah). Hal ini merupakan cerminan dari kerinduan mereka, karena kehilangan damai di hati selama bertahun-tahun, untuk mencari “damai” itu di malam natal! Tetapi seringkali kita gagal, seakan-akan kita salah mengerti akan apa itu damai yang sejati.

Materi ini sekali lagi ingin mengupas kebenaran tentang natal, dan bahaya si iblis dalam memanipulasi kebenaran untuk menghasilkan kedamaian yang palsu. Kedamaian sejati hanyalah melalui Kristus, tetapi tidak berhenti hanya pada keselamatan itu saja, melalui ketaatan dalam keselamatan lah maka kedamaian sejati itu akan bertumbuh didalam hati kita. Since the first time I follow twitter account of @wfp, I believe Wood Food Program (WFP) will take action by involving bloggers to support their fight against hunger in this world. Pretty relieved realizing that Crossprojectministry.com is a part of humanity global action against the “hunger”.

Last month, World Food Programme Executive Director Josette Sheeran, expressed her enthusiasm at the WFP Hunger Seminar in London. “You [today’s students] are the generation that will end hunger… In the future we want our grandchildren to ask us what hunger and starvation were.”

With the fact that 20% of the riches who “might” doesn’t really know the feeling of hunger conquered 80% of the earth resources, meanwhile the 80% of the poor and pooerest is fighting for the 20% of the earth resources. Realizing this fact, we need to work hand in hand to overcome the problem. We should be proactively help the poor to get out from their condition. (continue reading…)

Serangan kekerasan terhadap orang Kristen di Indonesia telah memaksa ditutupnya 20 gereja dalam beberapa bulan terakhir, pengujian keseimbangan keagamaan yang rapuh di negara yang mayoritas Islam.

Pemerintah menyangkal insiden adalah tanda intoleransi keagamaan yang sedang tumbuh, namun menyalahkan kondisi geopolitik dan pemilihan daerah.
