We support Bloggers Against Hunger!
by soegianto on Aug.12, 2010, under Cross Project, Photo, Video
Since the first time I follow twitter account of @wfp, I believe Wood Food Program (WFP) will take action by involving bloggers to support their fight against hunger in this world. Pretty relieved realizing that Crossprojectministry.com is a part of humanity global action against the “hunger”.
Last month, World Food Programme Executive Director Josette Sheeran, expressed her enthusiasm at the WFP Hunger Seminar in London. “You [today’s students] are the generation that will end hunger… In the future we want our grandchildren to ask us what hunger and starvation were.”
With the fact that 20% of the riches who “might” doesn’t really know the feeling of hunger conquered 80% of the earth resources, meanwhile the 80% of the poor and pooerest is fighting for the 20% of the earth resources. Realizing this fact, we need to work hand in hand to overcome the problem. We should be proactively help the poor to get out from their condition. (continue reading…)

“Blessed be he of the LORD, who has not forsaken His kindness to the living and the dead!” – Ruth 2:20
Read : Ruth 2
At one end of the truck terminal where H.H. Lee worked years ago was a coal company. Nearby were a railroad, and each day several freight trains passed by. Lee often noticed that the owner of the company, who was a Christian, threw chunks of coal over the fence at various places along the track. One day he asked the man why he did this.
The man replied, “An elderly woman lives across the street, and I know that her pension is inadequate to buy enough coal. After the trains go by, she walks along and picks up the pieces she thinks have fallen from the coal car behind the engine. She doesn’t realize that diesels have replaced steam locomotives. I don’t want to disappoint her, so I just throw some pieces over the fence.”
That’s Christianity in action! The book of Ruth vividly portrays this principle of giving. When Boaz saw Ruth gathering grain behind the reapers I n his field, he commanded them to leave some handfuls of grain for her. To her, this was a blessing from the LORD.
In the same way, the people whose lives we touch need to experience God’s love through our compassion and generosity. That’s why we should ask God to make us aware of opportunities to show kindness. – Henry Bosch
Do a deed of simple kindness;
Though its end you may not see
It will reach like widening ripples
Down a long eternity – Anon.
Kindness is the oil that makes the friction out of life

Hi temans,
(continue reading…)
Deus providebit – GOD will provide
by soegianto on Jul.11, 2008, under Christianity, Cross Project, Photo, Sharing
Few months ago, when the idea to create a cross project became a vision to us, there is one biggest question to ensure the project could run which is “who will buy the products?” The idea to empower the housewives to increase the nutrition infusion through doing their cultural mandate will eventually lost its hope.
But as it is written in the bible “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.”
Php 4:6, thus we put the biggest question of “who will buy the products” to The Biggest Solution provider – our Lord Jesus Christ -.
As we put our anxious into prayer and thanksgiving unto Him, we decide to start the project. At the beginning this project, everything seems find. We start by sharing this project to a lot of people from local church diaconal to person in charge in Jalan Kaca. Not all responses are good, but we find that even in great barrier there is an “invisible” hand that allows us to keep run the project. (continue reading…)
Anda percaya Mukjizat ?
by soegianto on Jun.23, 2008, under Christianity, Cross Project, Thoughts

God, when I see many of malnutritions children in Indonesia
It ever moved me to cry
It ever moved me to pray.
Hoping You would hear
But I shut my ears
For You had answer
But I am lazy to hear
For I heard the story
Now, I am going and seeking
What is the best of mine?
Will be blessed by Him
through the simple of mine
but be a blessed for them

Melihat, Mendengar, Merasakan… (a part of Cross Project)
by soegianto on Jan.24, 2008, under Article, Christianity, Church, Cross Project, Life, Project, Sharing, Thoughts
